Do I need any experience to take a class?
Most classes do not require any previous experience and are designed to be beginner-friendly. Some advanced classes may require a prerequisite, such as taking a basic woodworking class before joining a furniture-building class. If a class requires prior experience or a prerequisite, it will be clearly listed in the class description.
What kinds of classes do you offer?
Las Vegas Maker Studio offers hands-on classes in woodworking, CNC, laser cutting, engraving, crafting, custom gifts, home décor, and other maker-style projects.
Can I bring a partner, friend, or guest with me?
Due to limited space in the workshop, each person attending the class must book and pay for their own spot. This helps us keep the class safe, comfortable, and hands-on for everyone.
What will I make in class?
Projects may include cutting boards, small boxes, engraved pieces, signs, home décor, personalized gifts, and other creative builds depending on the class.
Do I get to take my project home?
Yes! In most classes, you’ll leave with something you made yourself. Some projects may require additional drying, curing, or finishing time.
Are tools and materials included?
Yes, unless otherwise stated in the class description. Materials, basic tools, and instruction are included with your class registration.
Is it safe for beginners?
Yes. Safety is a big part of every class. We’ll walk you through how to use tools properly and provide guidance throughout the experience.
What should I wear?
Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dusty or messy. Avoid loose sleeves, dangling jewelry, or anything that could get caught while using tools.
Can kids attend classes?
Some classes may be kid-friendly, while others may be for adults only due to tools, equipment, or safety requirements. Each class listing will note any age requirements.
Can I book a private class or group event?
Yes! Private workshops, date nights, family activities, team events, and small group classes may be available depending on the project and schedule.
Can I personalize my project?
Many classes may offer personalization options such as CNC carving, laser engraving, names, initials, logos, or custom designs when available.
What is your refund policy?
Cancellations made 14 or more days before class are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 14 days before class, but more than 4 days before class, may be transferred to a future class or issued as studio credit. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before class are non-refundable, but you may transfer your spot to another person. No-shows are not eligible for refunds, credits, or rescheduling.
What happens if Las Vegas Maker Studio cancels a class?
If we need to cancel or reschedule a class, you’ll be offered the option to transfer to a future class or receive a full refund.
Where is Las Vegas Maker Studio located?
Las Vegas Maker Studio is a small, personal maker workshop located in Las Vegas. Exact class details and location information will be provided after booking or in the class listing. We are located in the NW side of vegas near Santa Fe Casino.
